I am a painter and muralist based in Berkeley, California. My oil paintings explore the urban and industrial landscapes of the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly the complex structures of freeways, bridges, and intersections. I'm drawn to the relationships between color, light, and space, and to finding beauty in places that are often overlooked.
My mural work brings painting into shared spaces, from schools and classrooms to outdoor community environments. I enjoy developing site-specific designs that respond to their surroundings and the people who use them.
I studied Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and worked as a graphic designer before moving into art education. My experience teaching visual art has deepened my appreciation for observation, experimentation, and the creative process.
I work from my studio in Berkeley, where I continue to develop my painting practice and welcome inquiries about available work and commissions.
